Little Something for the Folks From Home

I don't go on vacation. I don't have any money. But I do have some random pictures to put up, if that would make you happy.

Some fellow Shippers and I making Livingston's handlers a little nervous at the Ship/Shepherd game.

As tradition holds, the Ship Low Brass takes a road trip to one of the away football games the band isn't scheduled to attend every year to support our football team. We opened the road trip up to the entire band and got a fairly large group to go to Shepherd College in West Virginia in 2003. Their mascot, Livingston the Ram, was a great source of entertainment to us, and we decided to start a "Free Livingston" campaign, but I'm afraid that this picture and this caption are all that ever got devoted to it on anyone's web page.

Ship Band volunteers risking their lives to support the team at the IUP game

Last fall, Fam decided he wanted to take a representative percentage of the band to the IUP game to support the team. We were only required to wear our khakis, band shirts, and ball caps, but we sported our Raider Rags and face paint as well. There were about 80 of us, and we were surrounded and taunted by the IUP fans and mistreated by security. At one point during the game, Fam shouted "GET OFF YOUR KNEES, REF! YOU'RE BLOWING THE GAME!!"
So it was all good fun to benefit the team. WOOT!

The Philly skyline from the River.

Whenever I got the chance, I took a trip out to Philly (Thanks Kevin and Mike!!) to visit Tim and see the sights. I took this one over Fall Break in October of 2003. Awesome veiws all around.

My guys...Tim and Jon hanging out at senior Prom.

Senior Prom was great fun...awesome food, awesome people, and an awesome party...we were all up until 4 am, then had to do a Jazz Band show at the Apple Blossom Festival the next day at 12. Getting everyone out of bed, fed, and off was hard enough.
